Kati Basti workshop

Kati means Lower back and Basti means to retain or hold. It is a unique musculoskeletal treatment in Ayurveda. Learn about the different types of external bastis from Kati basti, Janu basti, Hrid basti, and Netra basti.​

The different types of bastis are-

Kati Basti: located on the back and helps to relieve sciatica, lumbar spondylitis etc.

Janu Basti: located on the knee and done for arthritis ,knee pain.

Hridaya Basti: placed on the heart area.It works to improve the functioning of the heart .

Griva Basti: placed on the upper portion of the back and neck and especially done for cervical spondylosis ,neck pain and frozen shoulder 

Netra Basti: placed on the eyes and especially done to enhance eyesight, counter fatigue and dry eyes.

In these 2 days workshop participants can learn theory as well as live demonstration and practical aspects about practicing bastis. 

After two days of workshop participants can easily practice Kati basti or different types of basti treatments to their clients.
